Jesus for the Layman - Encountering the Son of God   £9.99 plus P&P  -

Published by WEEMAC Publishing June 2019

Behind this book is a challenge: ‘Try to convince the reader

why he should believe that Jesus is the Son of God.’

Neil Cullan McKinlay reminds us Jesus didn’t

give his disciples wriggle room.

He asked Simon Peter: “Who do you say I am?”

Simon Peter said: ‘The Messiah. The Son of the living God.’

Neil is a Scots-Canadian from the Vale of Leven.

He is a Presbyterian minister, and a chaplain

in the Australian Defence Force.

He is the author of 28 books.

Without ostentation and with Calvinist clarity,

he answers the question of

convincing others with candor:

‘Let me be up front. I don’t believe that I am able to do so.

Only God can do that.

However, God uses means to convince people of things.’

This book is such an instrument. - Stuart McKinlay

The cover of this book shows Loch Lomond

flowing into the  River Leven.

As a boy, Neil Cullan McKinlay fished in this river.

He went on to become one of the Lord's ‘fishers of men’.

Saint Andrew - Patron Saint of Scotland -

was the disciple who brought people to Jesus.

With this book Neil is following in the

footsteps of Saint Andrew.

Readers will benefit greatly from the author's profound

insights and keen sensitivity.

The maturity of the author's faith informs every page.

I have no hesitation, indeed it is my privilege,

to keenly recommend this book to those who are already in Christ

and to those yet seeking after the truth. - Billy Scobie
